SYNC is here to give you a safer, easier, and more enjoyable driving experience! SYNC is a wireless, hands-free technology system created by a collaboration between Ford and Microsoft. SYNC uses voice-activated technology to control everything from phone calls to the temperature settings on your Ford!

Hands-free calling lets you make a phone call with just the sound of your voice, or answer your phone with the touch of a button. If you receive a text message, Audible Text Messaging will read the text aloud to you, letting you keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. Audible Text Messaging even translates commonly used abbreviations and emoticons, so even if text contains a :-) or a LOL, the computer is smart enough to figure it out. Speaking of phones, SYNC AppLink allows you to access your favorite smartphone apps through your sound system.

Internet connectivity is becoming more and more important these days. So if you want internet access in your car, you're in luck! The Internet Connectivity feature lets you turn your USB mobile broadband modem or smartphone into a wireless router. So if you kids want to surf the net in the backseat, they can fire up their laptops and get to it!

The Climate Control feature allows you to control the interior temperature with the sound of your voice. You can even control the fans and defrosters.

Gas prices have been on everyone's mind this year, so one of SYNC's most practical features lets you track fuel consumption. You can see your instantaneous fuel consumption and compare it to your average MPG to tell whether or not it's improving. Using this feature in conjunction with avoiding sudden starts and stops can help you achieve better overall fuel economy. That's right, this feature can actually save you money every year!

The Vehicle Health Report let you check-in on the health of your vehicle. The Health Report makes recommendations and even lets you schedule a service appointment right from your vehicle!
